The Motor City Showdown is Detroit’s first no holds barred organized Drag Racing Event held in the city limits September 23, 2017. The event will feature spectacular, wheel standing, fire breathing 2,000 plus horsepower cars and the fearless stars who drive them of the “no-prep” grudge-racing world along with a world-class car show exhibit. The Motor City’s kingdom is for the taking and these racing rebels will battle at the Motor City Showdown to claim the title as the undisputed KING of DETROIT!

The 2017 Motor City Showdown will feature a number of exciting engagement
activities in the Leadfoot Fan Zone. The Leadfoot Fan Zone will feature open pits where
guest have the opportunity to get up close and personal to interact with the cars and stars
of the show. The event will showcase a world-class show & shine with vehicles from old school cool
to modern muscle and everything in between. Fans can rest assure there will be a variety
of great food and drink options in the Leadfoot Food Court, featuring the Taste of Detroit
with local vendor trucks and more.
Tickets are now on sale for the Motor City Showdown. $20 for Adults, FREE for Kids –
ages 12 and under as of Monday, September 4. Tickets may also be purchased on site, $25 for Adults
the day of the event.
Secured parking is available for $10 per vehicle. Parking lot is located on French Road.
